Pre-cut Patterns pioneered the market of made-to-order, computer-cut stencils. Initially, the service offered advantages of computer control over a process of hand-cutting the stencils. But the business continues to grow through the focus on customer service.

By launching this web page, Pre-cut may be pioneering again. The technology of the Internet permits Pre-cut to publish an ever-increasing catalog of images. Now, every customer has the opportunity to see the latest additions to the catalog as they are published.

Customer-oriented focus has driven the design of the web site, as the catalog is searchable by both category and by keyword. The tech notes section will also serve as a reference for Pre-cut’s products and services.

We realize that every project is made to order, and that our customers need to feel that the particular specifications of their project will be respected. Rather than impose our processes and images on a project, we adapt to the needs of the customer, and do our best for custom work are accompanied by phone calls and faxes. Many "dot.com" companies successfully fill orders with no person-to-person contact, but Pre-cut Patterns believes this is would be very unlikely in custom stencils. An element of trust is built through the phone calls. We also send proofs and make follow-up calls when we feel we do not understand instructions clearly enough.
