What are Pre-cut Patterns Stencils?  Sandblast stencils are used to frost, shade or carve images into glass. Pre-cut Patterns makes the stencils, which are available in varieties of thickness, as a service for sandblast artists. The image for the stencil is created on computer, and the resist material is cut with a computer-controlled plotter.  When applied to the work surface, areas of the pre-cut stencil are removed, exposing the surface to the sandblast media. After use, the stencil is discarded.
